Hibs could be about to be hit with some bad news, just 24 hours after getting their season back on track with a thumping 0-4 away win over Livi at Almondvale (I refuse to call it the stupid new name!).
It looks as though Hull City will recall on loan keeper Mark Oxley as early as Monday morning after back up keeper Steve Harper was taken off injured, and with Allan McGregor out, they only have one fit keeper, third choice Elden Jakupovic.
Oxley is likely to return as back-up.
There does seem to be some confusion wether Oxley can return between windows though, as it's a cross border loan deal.
Previously, Oxley would be able to return, but couldn't play until January, once his registration was transfered back, which could only happen when the transfer window opened.
However, Steve Bruce seems certain that Oxley can, and will go back, which will leave Hibs in a hole, just a week before the Edinburgh derby, with only untried youngster Kleton Perntreou and 40-year-old keeper coach Alan Combe registered on the books with the club as keepers.
