According to the Hull Daily Mail, Hull City have approached the Hibees seeking permission to speak to boss Paul Heckingbottom about their vacant managers position.
It's unclear at this point if Hibs gave permission for Heck to speak to the English side, but it would be a big blow for the club, as they have already started re-building for next season, having signed three players.
Heckingbottom has been in charge of the Hibees since February, when he replaced Neil Lennon and led the team on an unbeaten run that seen them make the top six, and just miss out on european qualification.
The former Barnsley man is on a shortlist to replace Nigel Adkins, so we will have to wait and see what the final outcome is.
