Hibs youngster Sean Lynch joins St Johnstone on loan

Last updated : 29 February 2008 By Steve Forbes

Young Hibs midfielder Sean Lynch has today joined first division side St Johnstone on loan.

The 21-year-old has joined the Saints on an emergency one-month loan deal and will go straight into the squad for Saints game against
Dundee.

Lynch has played seven times for the Hibernian first team and will get the chance of more first team football with St Johnstone.

The Hibees youth product will come across a number of familiar faces while playing for St Johnstone, he will come up against Mickael Antoine-Curier, who is on loan at Dundee from Hibs, if he plays against them tomorrow.

Former Hibs youth academy player Jamie McCluskey is also on the books at
McDiarmid Park.

The youngster can also play on the right side of defence and will give Derek McInnes more options. St Johnstone also secured the signature of
Inverness player Barry Wilson and McInnes was happy to secure both players.

He told the official St Johnstone website:

"I am very grateful to Craig Brewster and Mixu Paatelainen for their help with these loans and I am sure both players will bring something to the options I already have."

Good luck to the lad, some first team experience can only help him.
