Hibs have today announced that youngster Oscar MacIntyre has left the club on loan.

The 19-year-old full-back spent the first half of last season on loan with QOS, before switching to Annan Athletic for the second half of the season.

Annan were managed by Peter Murphy, who is now manager with QOS, and he has moved for MacIntyre again.

Hibs are hoping MacIntyre will gain some much needed first team experience with the League One side.

Hibernian FC Sporting Director, Malky Mackay said:

“This is a good move for Oscar, playing in a competitive league that he knows well.

“The fact that he has worked with their manager before is a positive and shows that he holds Oscar in high regard.

"This will give Oscar a good platform to build from and we are hoping he can kick on again this season.”

HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW

This move will do Oscar the world of good, he has already played 3 times for the first team at Easter Road, and is held in high regard.

Hopefully another loan will have him ready to return and stake a first team claim.

Good luck Oscar.
