Hibs youngster Damon Gray has today, once again, joined first division side Partick Thistle on loan.

Gray, 20, joined the Jags on loan last February, scoring four goals in 8 games while at Firhill, including a cracker that put Partick Thistle 1-0 up at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup.

The young English forward has been banging them in for Hibs U19 and reserve sides and has been sent out to gain some first team experience and will be on loan until January 19th 2009.

Thistle boss Ian McCall was delighted to land the Hibs youngster and told the official Partick Thistle website:

"Damon made a great impact in about 6 or 7 games, and unfortunately tapered off as young players do. However, at a time when we should have rested him we had to play him as we were short in the striker department. Hopefully, this will be rectified this time around and there's no denying that he scored the important goal at Ibrox against Rangers. We welcome him back and I'm sure he will score more goals for us".

Gray, also speaking to the official Partick Thistle website, said:

"I really enjoyed my time at Thistle, the boys are great and the support were really behind me and the team. I want to repay the faith that the Gaffer has in me and score goals!"

Good luck to the lad.
