Hibs Women have today announced the signing of goalkeeper Nina Wilson.
The 24-year-old joins the Hibees after recently leaving Sheffield United and will provide competition for fellow new goalkeeper, American Katie Fraine.
Wilson has also previously played for Watford, London City Lionesses and Brighton, as well as a spell in Iceland.
She also had a loan spell with Wolves whilst with Sheffield United.
The new keeper has already made her debut, with Hibs putting Irish side Cork City to the sword earlier today in a 7-1 win.
Goals from Tweedie x3, Adams x2, Nunn and McAlonie put the gloss on a fine training camp for the women over in Ireland.
Speaking to the offcial club website, Nina said:
“I’m buzzing to be here, it’s a massive club with real ambition. All the girls and staff have been really welcoming, there’s a good culture building here and I’m enjoying being a part of that.”
HIBS-MAD VIEW
On paper another very good signing for the Women.
The squad is really starting to take shape under Grant Scott, with the goalkeeping department looking solid.
Hopefully a good season on the horizon and the Women back where they belong - amongst the silverware.
