Hibs Women have today confirmed their third signing of the summer.
The Hibees have announced the signing of young Celtic striker Abbie Ferguson.
The 18-year-old has signed a two-year-deal at Easter Road and is new boss Grant Scott's latest signing.
Ferguson spent last season on loan with Partick Thistle, scoring 5 goals and adding 8 assists.
Speaking to the official club website, Abbie said:
“I am excited to be here and can’t wait to get started.
I’m looking to enjoy the upcoming season and hopefully score some goals for the club.”
Hibs Women manager Grant Scott added:
“We are delighted to bring Abbie to the club, she is a young player but has had experience within the league over the past season.
“I look forward to working with her and helping her develop both on and off the pitch.”
HIBS-MAD VIEW
Another one throught the door for our Women.
Grant Scott isn't hanging about, as he looks to build a new team for next season and hopefully gets us back among the trophies.
Ferguson is only 18, but is a very talented striker, and she could team up with fellow Scotland U19 international Elidh Adams up front.
Welcome to the Hibees Abbie.
