Hibs Women 3-0 Hearts Women

Last updated : 29 September 2021 By Steve Forbes

Hibs Women put in an impressive performance this evening, as they beat Hearts at Easter Road in front of a record crowd for a women's game in Scotland.

The Hibees ran out 3-0 winners watched by a crowd of 5,512.

American goal machine Alexa Coyle opened the scoring with a fine header, her 6th goal of the season, after just 7 mins under the floodlights in Leith and that's how the score remained until half time.

Hibs came out in the second half and played some lovely stuff, which helped Rachael Boyle added a second on 69 mins. (The Boyle's love scoring a ER!)

Sub Eilidh Adams completed the rout to make it 3-0 on the 80th minute, just 6 mins after replacing the impressive Coyle up front.

Hibs Women XI:

English, Leishman, Hunter, Eddie, Rice, Cavanagh, Gallacher, Notley, Murray (c), Coyle, Boyle.

Subs: Mutch, Muir, Malone, Boyce, Adams, Rennie, Morrison

A brilliant night all round for the Women's team.

An outstanding result in-front of an excellent crowd at Easter Road.

Hibs owner Ron Gordon has already stated that the Women's team will be brought into the club in the coming months, which will hopefully see them take another massive stride forward.

Well done the Lassies!!
