Hibs have today confirmed that winger Runar Hauge has joined Norwegian side FK Jerv.
The 21-year-old joined from fellow Norwegian side Bodo/Glimnt in January 2022.
Hauge played 3 games for the Hibees, and also had a loan spell in Ireland with Dundalk and managed 11 games and scored 2 goals.
He has now returned to his homeland on a free transfer and has signed a two-year-deal with the Wolverines.
Hibs boss Lee Johnson said:
“This move allows Runar to play regular football in his homeland. We wish him all the best for the future.”
HIBS MAD VIEW:
Another one out the door at Easter Road in a very busy summer.
We never really got to see Runar in the first team, he was signed as a development player, but managed to make three appearances for the club.
He had a good spell over in Ireland with Dundalk, but has struggled to force his way into the Easter Rod first team.
Good luck to Runar from everyone at Hibs-Mad
