Hibs have today announced that winger Jamie Murphy has joined English side Mansfield Town on loan.

The 32-year-old joins the League Two side until the end of the season, which is also the same time his Hibs contract ends, meaning he has now officially left the club.

Murphy joined the Hibees from Rangers, initially on loan, then followed by a permanent deal at th end of his loan.

His time at Easter Road was plauged with injury and the Hibees probably didn't get to see the best of him in a green and white shirt.

He playe 50 times for the Hibees, scoring 5 goals.

Hibs-Mad View:

Not a shock this one, just like the Gogic deal.

His form of late has been poor, and he has spent a lot of time in his Hibs career injured.

He showed in flashes what he was capable of, and this move was probably best for the player and the club.

Good luck Jamie from everyone at Hibs-Mad.
