Head Coach Sir David Gray continued his overhaul of the Hibs squad today with another departure.
It's been revealed that winger Daniel Mackay has signed for Partick Thistle on a free transfer.
The 23-year-old has joined the Glasgow club following his departure from Easter Road.
Mackay joined the Hibees from Inverness Caley Thistle in 2021 for a reported £200,000, but has spent most of time in Edinburgh out on loan.
He had spells with Kilmarnock, Inverness and Livingston, playing over 50 times during those moves away.
Mackay played only 7 times for Hibs, scoring 1 goal, against Andorran side Santa Coloma in the Europa League.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW
It's dissapointing that Daniel's time at Easter Road never worked out.
He looked an exciting and direct player, but he suffered by the constant manager changes and was never given a run in the side.
We get the feeling given the chance, Daniel could have been a good player for us.
We wish Dan the best of luck at his new club.
