Hibs have today revealed that Saturday's home clash with St Johnstone has sold out.
The club have implemented a new inititive "Football for a Fiver" which makes every seat in the ground just £5.
The home end is now sold out, which also includes half of the traditional away stand, the South Stand.
Hibs now have a ticket exchange in place for any season ticket holders who can't make the game to free up their season ticket seats.
St Johnstone have been given the other half of the South Stand, around 1600 tickets (after segregation), and it looks like there is only 2-300 tickets left for the Perth side.
Easter Road could be looking at close to a 20,000 crowd at the weekend.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW:
Fantastic news!
It's good to see Easter Road is going to be full at the weekend for the visit of the Perth side.
It just goes to show, that if you make it affordable, the market is there.
We are in no way saying it should be £5 to get in every week, but surely if you dropped prices to say £20 for an Adult and £5 for Concessions, crowds would swell and make up the difference of the cheaper tickets?
