Hibs have taken former Derby County and Doncaster Rovers striker Theo Robinson on trial.
The 26-year-old is a free agent after leaving Doncaster Rovers in the summer.
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs is keen to bolster his forward line after a shot shy start to the season, and an on going injury list.
Summer signing James Keatings and long term injury victim Farid El Alagui are still to make an appearance this season, leaving only Jason Cummings and Dominique Malonga as the recognised strikers, with Malonga also said to be carrying an injury, and playing through the pain barrier.
Robinson started his career at Watford, and has also played for Doncaster, Millwall, Huddersfield and Derby County.
He has also had loan spells with Wealdstone, Hereford, Southend, Millwall, Huddersfield, Derby and Scunthorpe.
The experienced hitman has also been capped 5 times for Jamaica
