Former Raith Rovers defender Paul Watson has joined the Hibs squad on trial, following their return to pre-season training.
The Hibees returned to their East Mains training facility on Thursday, and the 24-year-old was expected to join them.
Watson, a centre half, left Raith Rovers during the summer, after turning down a new contract with the Stark's Park outfit.
He has now been handed a chance to impress by Hibs boss Alan Stubbs, and is expected to spend a week on trial with the club.
Watson grew up in Edinburgh, but actually came through the Ipswich Town youth system. He was released before ever making an appearance for the English side.
He moved to Livingston in 2009 after his release from Portman Road, and went on to make well over 100 appearances for Livi, winning the 3rd & 2nd division, before moving to Raith in 2013.
After 2 years, an over 70 appearances in Kirkcaldy, he left the club this summer.
