English Sky Bet League Two side Carlisle United have tonight confirmed that they will play the Hibees in a pre-season friendly.
Hibs will travel south to Brunton Park on Tuesday July 9th with 7.45pm kick off.
Carlisle are managed by former Hearts and Scotland defender Steven Pressley, which should make for an interesting evening.
The Cumbrian club finished 11th in League Two last season and should provide decent opposition for the men from Edinburgh as Paul Heckingbottom's tenure as manager begins in earnest.
