Dumbarton have tonight revealed that they will face Hibs in an early pre-season friendly.
The Hibees will head west, to the Bet Butler Stadium, this coming Saturday, with a 3pm kick off.
The 1st division side are, of course, managed by former Hibees captain Ian Murray.
Hibs return to pre-season early this year due to the Hibees qualifying for the Europa League, which they will enter at the 2nd qualifying round, with the 1st leg being played on the 18th July.
Sons chief executive Gilbert Lawrie said:
"The game will have a 3pm kick-off and as soon as we've agreed prices with Hibs we'll get them into the public domain.
"It's an earlier than normal game in our schedule, but we're delighted to help and the match will prove to be very useful for both clubs."
Hibs have already set-up three other friendlies.
First off will be Dumbarton, quickly followed by a week long Gibraltar training camp, where they will face a Gibraltar XI on Wed 3rd July, before heading for a short trip across the border in to Portugal to face Nottingham Forest on Sat 6th July.
Hibs then face a short trip over the Forth Road Bridge to face Raith Rovers at Stark's Park on Fri 12th July.
