Hibs boss Neil Lennon has revealed that the club will appeal the red card that midfielder Marvin Bartley picked up on Saturday.
Bartley was sent off for a challenge on Ayr Utd midfielder Jamie Adams, but Hibs feel the decision was wrong.
Lennon said:
“I’m not convinced it was an ordering-off.
"There was no real malice in the tackle.
"There were a lot of cynical things that went on in the game and they only merited a yellow card.
“He’s bitterly disappointed. I’ll need to get the referee’s take on it but we’ll definitely consider an appeal.”
