Hibs have taken Leeds United midfielder Curtis Weston on trial at Easter Road.

The 21-year-old former
Swindon Town and Millwall midfielder has been training at the Hibees new £5.1m state-of-the-art training facility at East Mains in an attempt to impress Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen.

Weston is well down the pecking order at
Elland Road and Leeds boss and former Scotland internationalist Gary McAllister is unlikely to be looking for a fee for the player.

He spent last season on loan at
Scunthorpe and played 7 times, he also played 7 times for Leeds last season.

Weston started his career at Millwall, when in only his second appearance, became the youngest player to ever play in an FA cup final, aged just 17.

After just four appearances he moved to
Swindon Town, making 27 appearances for the Robins, before signing for Leeds in 2007.

Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen is out to strengthen his midfield and already has French midfielder Steven Thicot (expected to be paraded at Easter Road as a new signing tomorrow) and former Chelsea player Joe Keenan on trial at East Mains.

The Hibees have called a press conference for
1pm tomorrow and it's expected will parade at least a couple of new signings. Could Weston be one of them??
