Hibs boss Alan Stubbs has stepped up his search for a new No.1 at Easter Road, by taking Antoine Gounet on trial.
The 25-year-old former Toures and Brentford keeper will spend the next few days training at East Mains in an attempt to impress Stubbs and earn himself a deal at Easter Road.
Frenchman Gounet never made an appearance for Brentford, instead playing for their development side.
He has however played over 50 games for Toures B side in France.
He has been training with Fulham to keep fit, and has been offered a deal by French Ligue 2 side Stade Laval, but has turned it down as he wishes to stay in the UK.
Stubbs has admitted he currently has dossiers on over 40 keepers and is slowly sorting through them looking for a new Hibs No.1
