Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen has stolen a march on arch rivals Hearts, by taking Jambos target Denes Rosa on trial at Easter Road.
Hibees manager Paatelainen heard of the Hungarian internationals situation and immediately offered the player a trial at the Hibees new £5m state-of-the-art training facility at East Mains, Tranent.
It appears the Jambos current financial problems have handed Paatelainen a march on his counterpart, with the player arriving for the week, bringing his family with him.
Should he impress he could become Paatelainen's third signing of the transfer window, following the arrivals of Jonatan Johansson and Grzegorz Szamotulski at Easter Road.
Rosa has played for a number of clubs in his homeland as well as Wolves. He has been capped 10 times by Hungary.
