According to reports in today's press Hibs forward Abdessalam Benjelloun is about to be the subject of a £1m bid from Belgian cracks Anderlecht.

Scouts from the Belgian side have been watching Benji closely and manager Ariel Jacobs is said to very interested in taking the Moroccan international to the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium this summer.

The 23-year-old has just broken through in to the Moroccan international squad after a successful spell playing in their Olympic U23 side. He has scored 3 goals in 4 games now for
Morocco and that is how he has said to have been spotted by Jacobs.

Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen is looking to re-build his squad over the next couple of weeks and may well see a £1m transfer fee for the out-of-favour forward as a good platform to start with, if the board give him that that is, we very much doubt it!!
