Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has just completed his FOURTH signing of January transfer window deadline day.
20-year-old full back/centre half Matt Doherty has joined the Hibees on loan until the end of the season.
Doherty becomes the 8th player to join the Hibees on loan this season (9 if you count the 7 days Newcastle youngster Phil Airey spent at ER).
Fenlon will know Doherty well, as he previously was on the books of Bohemians, but didn't actually play a game for the Irish side, before winning a £75,000 move to Wolves after a trial in 2010.
He made his EPL debut against Liverpool in September last year and is contracted to the Molineux club until 2014.
Hibs already have Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths on loan.
Speaking to official club website, Doherty said:
"I'm excited about playing for Hibs and about working with Pat again. He has given me the chance to get some game time and I'm looking forward to it.
"Hopefully playing first team football week in, week out will benefit me in many ways.
"My aim is to do as well as I can for Hibs, and go back and challenge for a first team spot at Wolves."
