Hibs have apparently completed the signing of Swindon Town striker James Collins.
The 22-year-old is said to have signed a 3-year-deal with the club, and signed this morning.
Collins joins the Hibees in a £200,000 deal.
Although nothing official has appeared on the official club website, Collins has just been on twitter and spoken of his delight at the move.
He tweeted:
"Happy to have signed for hibs this morning, been a good couple of days in Edinburgh, Looking forward to the challenge of playing in the SPL, and meeting up with the team soon.
"Thanks for all the welcome messages as well.
"Also a thank you to Swindon Town, Enjoyed my time there a lot, with the lads, fans and the club, and wish them all the best for the new season."
The Hibees appear to have beaten off competition from both Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United for his signature.
Birmingham City were also credited with an interest.
Collins becomes Manager Pat Fenlon's 8th summer signing and he joins Liam Craig, Owen Tudur-Jones, Fraser Mullen, Kevin Thomson (re-signed), Sean Murdoch (re-signed), Rowan Vine and Ryan McGivern at Easter Road.
Welcome to the Hibees James from everyone at Hibernian-Mad.
