Hibs have this afternoon confirmed the signing of Swansea striker Mykola Kuharevich.
The 23-year-old has Ukranian joined the Hibees on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Myko returns to Leith having spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Easter Road from French side Troyes.
During the previous loan spell with the Hibees he scored 5 goals in 15 games in an injury ravaged spell, but did enough to impress the Welsh side who swooped to sign him last summer in a reported £1.7m deal.
Speaking to the official club website, Hibs boss David Gray said:
“First of all, we are excited to be able to bring a player of Myko’s calibre back to Hibs. From working with him previously I know all about his strengths and how his all-round play will benefit the team this season.
“He will have no trouble slotting back in again; he understands the league well, knows the players in the dressing room and we are all excited to work with him again.”
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW
An excellent signing for the Hibees.
Big Myko, when fit, was a revelation the last time and managed to win himself a good move off the back of it.
He brings a real presence to the Hibees forward line, but should also prove the perfect partner for Dutch hitman Dylan Vente.
The signing should be a big hit with the fans aswell.
Let's hope he hits the ground running.
