Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has today landed his first signing as manager of the club.
23-year-old Sligo Rovers striker Eoin Doyle has signed on at Easter Road on a free transfer.
The Irish player was out-of-contract, and has been on trial at the club's East Mains training facility over the last week.
Doyle impressed in a bounce game against St Johnstone, scoring as the Hibees ran out 3-0 winners.
The 6ft striker, who scored 23 goals last season, has signed an 18-month-deal at Easter Road.
Doyle has previously played for Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers, as well as Sligo, in the Irish league.
As the transfer window does not open until January 1st, Doyle can't be registered until then, meaning he can't make his debut until at least the Edinburgh derby on January 2nd.
Hibs are also thought to have beaten both Aberdeen and Championship side Ipswich Town to the players' signature.
Doyle will be introduced at a press conference at Easter Road this afternoon (Friday).
