Hibs sign SEVEN youngsters from U19 side on professional contracts!

Hibs have today announced that they have signed up seven of the clubs outstanding U19 side on professional contracts.

Kurtis Byrne, Ewan Moyes, Patrick Deane, Sean Welsh, Lee Currie, Thomas Flynn and David Wotherspoon have all signed up.

The current U19 side is destroying everything in it's path, the most recent result being a 3-2 win over their Rangers counterparts at Murray Park.

Hibs U19 side has only lost 1 game in 20 and is sitting proudly at the top of the table, 2 points clear of Rangers and 7 ahead of capital rivals Hearts.

They are also in the semi final of the Scottish Youth FA Cup, in which they will face Falkirk.

Well done lads, Scotland's most prolific youth academy produces the good yet again.

Over recent years a number of quality youngsters have came through the Hibees youth system.

Garry O'Connor, Kevin Thomson, Steven Whittaker, Scott Brown and Derek Riordan to name but a few.
