Hibs have today confirmed the signing of Lithuanian international Vykintas Slivka.
The Hibees have paid an undisclosed fee for the 6ft 3in midfielder, and he joins on a permanent deal, and not on loan as first reported.
Slivka, 22, has signed a 3-year-deal with the club and becomes Neil Lennon's seventh summer signing, following the arrivals of Efe Ambrose, Danny Swanson, Ofir Marciano, Steven Whittaker, Simon Murray and countryman Deivydas Matulevicius at Easter Road.
Speaking to the official website, he said:
"I am very happy to have signed for Hibernian.
"This is another step in my career and I am really excited to be joining the club.
"The international matches against Scotland and England have given me a taste of the British style of football, and now I can't wait to get started.
"I am looking forward to meeting the squad and getting ready for the new season."
Slivka has previously played for Ascoli, Modena and Den Bosch, and has been capped 19 times for Lithuania.
