Hibs have swooped at the last few minutes of January transfer deadline day, to complete the signing of Sylvester Jasper from Fulham.
The 20-year-old winger has joined the Hibees on loan until the summer, with the option for a permanent transfer should his loan spell go well.
Jasper can play on either wing and is known for his speed and trickery and spent time on loan with Colchester United earlier in the season.
He played 24 games, scoring 2 goals for the English League Two side.
Jasper has a good record at U23 level in England, scoring 8 goals in 16 games.
He has also been capped twice for Bulgaria U21's.
Speaking to the offical club website, Hibs boss Shaun Maloney said:
“Sylvester is a talented young player that possesses a lot of creativity and speed. He gives us extra options and can play on both the left and right in attacking areas.
“My staff and I are looking forward to working with him and welcoming him to the club.”
Hibs-Mad View:
Well this one has come from nowhere.
The Hibees must have squeezed the deal over the line just before the transfer window closed at midnight.
It's good to see another pacey player come to the club after the loss of Martin Boyle earlier in the window.
Welcome to the Hibees Sylvester!
