Hibs have tonight confirmed the signing of Dundee Utd midfielder Dylan Levitt.
The 22-year-old has joined the Hibees from the Tannadice club in a £350,000 deal.
The Welsh international has signed a three-year-deal at Easter Road as the club seen of rivals Hearts to sign the former Manchester United kid.
Levitt becomes Lee Johnson's sixth signing of the transfer window, and the fourth Hibs have paid a fee for.
He started his career with Manchester United, making his debut in Europe against Astana, which was his only appearance for the Red Devils.
Levitt then had loans with Charlton Athletic, Croatian side Istra 1961 and then Dundee Utd.
He then joined Dundee United on a permanent deal.
He has been capped at U17, U19, U21 level and has now been capped 13 times at full international.
Speaking to the official club website, Hibs boss Lee Johnson said:
“Dylan adds real quality to our midfield. We have strong competition for places in there now and have a lovely blend of qualities.
“He joins us with good pedigree, has a great passing range, and will fit seamlessly into our evolving squad.
“We are delighted to have secured his services and look forward to working with him.”
HIBS-MAD VIEW
A brilliant signing for the Hibees.
Levitt has been a stand-out in a poor United side, and will bring something different to the Hibs midfield.
It's a real statement of intent from the Gordon family and Ben Kensell.
Welcome to the Hibees Dylan.
