Hibs have tonight announced the signing of English defender Jordan Obita.
The 29-year-old left-back has signed a two-year-deal at Easter Road, with the Hibees having an option of adding a third should they wish.
Obita joins Hibs are leaving English side Wycombe Wanderers this summer, he spent two-and-a-half years with the English League One side, fter spending the previous decade with Reading.
He also had loan spells with the likes of Barnet, Gillingham and Portsmouth and had a short spell with Oxford United.
He has played over 300 games in his career and brings a wealth of experience to a young Hibs squad.
Obita can also play on the left wing.
Speaking to the official webiste, Hibs boss Lee Johnson said:
“We’re excited to bring a player of Jordan’s experience to the Football Club.
“He gives us extra options all the way up the left hand-side and his ability from set plays will add an extra dimension to the squad. We look forward to working with him.”
