Hibs boss Colin Calderwood has tonight completed his 6th signing of the January transfer window. The Hibees have snapped up experienced Charlton Athletic striker Akpo Sodje. Sodje, 30 today, has signed an 18 month contract with the club, and has signed on a free transfer from the London club. The 6ft 3in striker joins the Hibees after Calderwood missed out on Sheffield United forward Daniel Bogdanovic, who decided against a move loan to Edinburgh earlier today. Sodje is well travelled player, having spent most of his career in England, playing for a number of clubs, including Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town and QPR amongst others, and should bring much needed experience and power to the Hibs forward line. Welcome to the Hibees Akpo.
