Hibs have tonight announced the signing of Bournemouth attacking midfielder Emiliano Marcondes.
The 28-year-old has signed on loan until the end of the season, with Hibs apparently hoping to sign him permanently in the summer, according to the Scotsman.
Marcondes has previously played for FC Midtjylland, as well as Brentford and Bournemouth in England.
Hibernian boss Nick Montgomery said:
“We’re delighted to get this signing over the line. Emiliano is a top player and one that adds extra quality to our squad.
“A player of his ability always has a lot of interest, but through numerous conversations and him watching how we play, he has really bought into Hibs and the part he can play here in the second half of the season.
“As a player, he’s very intelligent and is a specialist from dead ball situations. We look forward to working with him for the remainder of the season.”
HIBS-MAD VIEW
WOW.
Is the first word that comes to mind.
A real statement of intent from the Hibees, and off the back of the signing of exciting Hertha Berlin attacker Myziane Maolida, this is turning into some window for the club.
We have heard Hibs managers say in the past, quality, not quantity, Monty is on the right path so far!!
