Hibs have today completed the signing of Australian international Mark Milligan.
The 33-year-old has signed for the Hibees on a two-year deal, after rejecting a move to Easter Road earlier in the summer.
Milligan played all three games at the recent Fifa World Cup in Russia for his country and has been capped 71 times and brings a wealth of experience to Easter Road.
He has previously played in the likes of Australia, Saudi Arabia and Japan in a somewhat nomadic career.
Speaking to the official club website he said:
“I am delighted to have joined Hibernian.
“I know it’s a big club with an exciting young squad, and I hope to be able to add to that with my experience.
“Jamie (Maclaren) obviously did well here last year and gave Hibs a bit of a profile back home – everyone there is pretty familiar with the Scottish game and I’m excited to now be a part of that.
“The team have had a good start to the season with the run in Europe and I’m looking forward to joining up with the squad and getting going.”
He becomes Hibs 8th summer signing.
