Hibs are tonight on the verge of announcing the signing of defender Neal Eardley.
The right sided former Birmingham City player has agreed a deal with the club, following a trial period at East Mains.
According to reports, Eardley has signed a deal until January, and arrives as competition for David Gray.
Eardley, 27, has played a couple of games for the Hibees development side, including today's abandoned game with Rangers, in which he scored, and has clearly done enough to impress Hibs boss Neil Lennon.
The Welsh international will go straight into the squad for Sunday's clash with Dundee Utd at Easter Road.
