Hibs boss Pat Fenlon is set to finalise one of the most controversial signings the club has seen for a number of years.
According to press reports Hibs have agreed terms with recently released Hearts defender Fraser Mullen.
This news actually doesn't actually come as a surprise, as this rumour has been doing the rounds in the city for a number of weeks.
19-year-old full back Mullen was one of the first players released as the Jambos started to financially collapse, and head for administration, despite him being highly regarded in Gorgie.
Mullen left the struggling Yams whilst still recovering from a broken foot, that he ironically picked up in andinburgh derby draw at Easter Road last season, but that injury has healed.
He his set to sign a 1-year-deal at Easter Road, and become Pat Fenlon's fourth summer signing, following the arrivals of Owain Tudur-Jones from Inverness, Liam Craig from St Johnstone and Ryan McGivern from Manchester City.
Mullen played 8 times for Hearts and has represented Scotland at U17 level.
