Hibs are being linked with FK Haugesund's French forward Mickael Antoine-Curier in this afternoon's press.

The Hibees played
Livingston in a closed door friendly last night at Easter Road, winning 5-2.

An unnamed striker scored FOUR of the goals, including a penalty and it is thought that Curier was the player.

Curier has played in
Britain before, having a disastrous spell in the lower leagues of England, playing for no less than SIX teams in a twelve month period.

He played for
Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Oldham Athletic, Notts County, Grimsby Town and Kidderminster Harriers, before heading to Norway.

He scored 7 goals in 16 games in the Norwegian league last season.

A Norwegian newspaper is reporting that a fee is agreed and Curier spoke to the paper, saying:

"I think it will go well, but I can't be sure. I would be really pleased if this goes through. It would be a big step forward for my career."
