It's been revealed tonight that Hibs are closing on the signing of full-back Miquel Nelom.
The 27-year-old Holland international is a free agent after leaving Eredivisie giants Feyenoord in the summer.
Nelom spent the latter part of last season on loan with Sparta Rotterdam, but played in the Champions League earlier in the season, coming up against Man City.
He came through Feyenoord's youth system and made over 120 appearances for the club.
Nelom also had a loan spell with Excelsior earlier in his career.
Hibs boss Neil Lennon has been keen to bolster his squad despite the transfer window being closed, and this will be seen as a massive coup for the Hibees.
Nelom will fight it out with club legend Lewis Stevenson for the left back slot at Easter Road.
