Thierry Gatheussi - Coming to Easter Road???

Hibs are thought to be on the verge of securing a deal for trialist Thierry Gatheussi, to make him boss John Collins' sixth summer signing.

According to a local
Edinburgh radio station's sports bulletin, Gatheussi has flown back to France but will sign for the Hibees in the coming days.

The
Cameroon born defender has been on trial at Hibs over the last few weeks and joined the first team squad on the pre-season trip to Austria.

He also played well against
Brechin City on Tuesday night at Glebe Park and it seems he impressed the Hibs management team enough to be offered a deal.

The defender plays for FC Sete in France and Hibs will have to pay a nominal fee to secure his services.

The news for Hibs other trialist is not so good however. The player thought to be Slovenian, is a striker and scored Hibs third at Forthbank today, but it seems he WON'T be offered a deal at Easter Road.

There is also rumours doing the rounds that another mystery striker is expected to arrive at Easter Road on Monday for a trial period.
