According to reports coming out of Honduras tonight, Hibs have secured Jorge Claros on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old joined the Hibees on loan last January, with his current loan deal set to run out on the 31st January.
It was thought that the Hibees may struggle to hold on to the player as his parent club Montagua claimed that they had recieved a couple of cash offers for the 35 times capped player.
However, Claros stated that he would prefer to remain in Edinburgh for the rest of the season, and according to his manager, an agreement has been reached.
Montagua manager Julio Gutierrez said:
"Claros stays at Hibernian, we signed a contract extension for six months. The player is happy in Scotland and it also helps the national side that he plays every week"
