Hibs reserves 2-0 Falkirk reserves

Last updated : 13 December 2007 By Steve Forbes

A youthful looking Hibernian took apart their Falkirk counterparts yesterday afternoon at the Falkirk Stadium.

Young Hibees striker Damon Gray was once again the main man for Hibs as he helped himself two yet another two goals.

Gray scored 30+ goals combined last season for both the reserve side and U19 side, he has hit NINE already this year.

Hibs and Gray's first goal come courtesy of a penalty that the young English striker dispatched confidently past the Bairns keeper.

Gray added a second with not long on the clock, set up by a cracking through ball from Jordan Cropley.

Jack Wilson and Keegan Ayre both had stand out games in the midfield and also look cracking prospects from the famous
Hibernian Youth Academy.

The Hibs team was:

McNeil
Welsh
Mailey
Tolmie (Moyes)
Notman (Currie)
Lynch
Wilson
Ayre
Cropley
Gray
Campbell

Well done lads!

That is pretty much our U19 side, that has stepped up to reserve football and confidently taken care of Falkirk. A good sign for the future.

The future is indeed bright, it's green and white
