Hibs have tonight revealed that they have released a further three players from their contracts at Easter Road.
The most high profile of the three is David Van Zanten, who signed for the Hibees last summer on a bosman from St Mirren, but has failed to produce the displays the Hibees had been hoping for.
He was signed by former boss Mixu Paatelainen, but has had a poor 12 months in Edinburgh.
Finland international Jonatan Johansson has also been released, following a poor stay at Easter Road.
The 34-year-old, also signed by Paatelainen, has failed to score a goal since signing from Swedish side Malmo in January.
The last player to be released is striker Patrick Deane, who won a contract at the end of last after playing his part for the Hibees treble winning U19 side.
New boss John Hughes has decided to let the youngster go on a free, giving him the chance to find himself another club.
Hibernian-Mad would like to wish all three players the very best for their future careers.
