Hibs have today revealed that midfielder Nohan Kenneh has joined Ross County.

The former Leeds United youngster has joined the Staggies on loan for the rest of the season, and effectively ends his career at Easter Road, with his contract ending this summer.

The 21-year-old joined the Hibees from Leeds United in May 2022, on a three-year-deal, he played 19 times and scored 1 goal, but lost his place due to poor form.

Kenneh then joined Ross County on loan in January 2023, and made 19 appearances in the second half of the season.

He then spent the following season back down in England on loan with League One side Shrewsbury Town, playing 33 times and scoring 1 goal.

Nohan returned to Easter Road in the summer, and was expected to leave during the summer transfer window, but no move materialised.

The Liberian international has spent the last six months sitting in the stand, having never even made the bench once this season.

Speaking to the offical club website, Hibs boss David Gray said:

“This is a good opportunity for Nohan to get back to playing more regular football.

“We have a lot of competition for places in central midfield and unfortunately for Nohan, his game time has been very limited here at Hibs.

“I would like to thank Nohan for his professionalism and attitude during his time with the Club and wish him all the best for the future.”

HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW:

A good move for Nohan, he knows the Staggies well.

He can hopefully kick-start his career, rather than be wasted as an unused player every week.

Hibs also clear some much needed space in the squad for any January in-comings.

Good luck Nohan.
