According to reports in today’s newspapers, out-of-contract Hibs midfielder Liam Miller is set to join Perth Glory.
The 30-year-old Irish international has so far failed to agree terms on a new deal at Easter Road, and is said to have flown out Australia to discuss terms with the A-League club.
Miller signed as a free agent with the Hibees in 2009, following his release from English Championship side QPR.
Then Hibs boss John Hughes handed the former Celtic, Manchester United and Sunderland player a 2-year-deal with the club.
Perth Glory recently lost former Liverpool and England forward Robbie Fowler, who has returned to England to complete his coaching badges.
The Australian side are managed by former Rangers player and Scotland internationalist Ian Ferguson.
The Glory also have former Motherwell and St Mirren player Steven McGarry playing for them.
With Liam Miller on the verge of leaving, and striker Derek Riordan now out of contract, Hibs boss Colin Calderwood’s summer re-building job has just become even bigger.
