Hibs midfielder Kevin Thomson has been called upto the Scotland squad, for the double header against Belgium and Macedonia.
Thomson, 28, has been excellent since re-signing for the Hibees, and fully deserves his call-up.
Scotland play Belgium at Hampden on Friday 6th September 2013, and then Macedonia in Skopje on Tuesday 10th September 2013, in a World Cup qualifying double header.
Thomson has so far only been capped 3 times at full international level despite playing at the highest level with Rangers, and then Middlesbrough, although he has had some horrible injuries over his career.
The full Scotland squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers
Matt Gilks (Blackpool)
David Marshall (Cardiff City)
Allan McGregor (Hull City)*
Craig Samson (Kilmarnock)
Defenders
Ikechi Anya (Watford)
Gordon Greer (Brighton and Hove Albion)

*Suspended for match against Belgium
Thomson's last appearance for Scotland came back in 2010, against Sweden in a 3-0 loss. Ironically, he was subbed in that game and replaced with current Hibs team mate Scott Robertson.
Good luck Kev.
