Hibs boss Colin Calderwood has tonight allowed flop midfielder Edwin De Graaf to return to his homeland. The 30-year-old former NAC Breda and Feyenoord player has failed to adapt to the Scottish game, since arriving in a blaze of publicity this summer on a bosman from Breda. De Graaf actually started the season well, scoring a double in the home leg of the Europa League clash with Slovakians NK Maribor, but has gone on to miss a number of high profile sitters that have cost the Hibees valuable SPL points as they fight relegation. Unfortunately, Holland B cap De Graaf has struggled with life in the SPL, and has been allowed to join Dutch Eredivisie side Excelsior on loan until the end of season.
