Hibs have today announced that young attacking midfielder Danny Handling has signed a new long term deal with the club.
The 20-year-old has signed a new 4-year-deal that will keep him at Easter Road until the summer of 2018.
Speaking to the official club website, Handling said:
“I’m absolutely delighted to have agreed a new contract with the club.
“It’s my local club and I’ve been here since I was 10, so to extend my stay for another four years immediately felt like the right decision for me to make.
“I’m really excited about the future here at Hibs and being part of helping the club to climb back into the Scottish Premiership.
“I’ve enjoyed every minute of working with the new Head Coach – he has shown faith in me and hopefully I’ve repaid that with some decent performances.
“I want to continue to build on that and I believe he (Alan Stubbs) will develop me into becoming a better player.”
Hibs boss Stubbs added:
“We’re really pleased that Danny has agreed a new deal – he is an important member of the squad.
“We believe his best years are ahead of him and we look forward to seeing him continue his development at Hibernian.”
