According to the Scottish Sun, Hibs have submitted an offer for Raith Rovers youngster Dylan Tait.
With only hours left of the transfer window, the Hibees have made their move for the 19-year-old.
Tait has been attracting a lot of interest with some fine displays for the Starks Park club, and fits the mould that Hibs have been trying to sign players in - young and Scottish.
Hibs have already landed young winger Daniel Mackay from Inverness Caley in a 100k deal at the start of the summer and Jack Ross is now trying to now bring midfielder Tait to Edinburgh.
ED'S VIEW:
This one has come from nowhere.
Hibs boss Jack Ross has already stated that the club is looking to sign young Scottish talent, and Tait fits the bill.
Tait was Raith's YPOTY last season and would be an exciting signing.
Hibs have only signed one player this window so far, Nathan Wood on loan from Middlesbrough.
The squad still looks thin, let's hope we have a couple of rabbits up our sleeve before the window closes.
