Hibs linked with West Ham starlet Emmanuel Longelo

According to reports from a number of sources, Hibs have been linked with a summer move for young West Ham defender Emmanuel Longelo.

The 21-year-old left back, who made his West Ham debut in Europe last season, is apparently keen on a move for first team football and a number of clubs are interested.

The Hibees are facing stiff competition for his signature, should they decide to make a move, with Rangers and a number of English sides keen.

Hibs interest is also thought to depend wether they hold on to wonderkid Josh Doig, who has been attracting plenty interest, with Sheffield United the latest club linked.

Watford had a £2.8m bid for the Scotland U21 player thrown out last summer, and the likes of Arsenal, AC Milan and Man City have been linked in the past.

HIBS-MAD VIEW:

This boy seems to fit Hibs signing blueprint, young, exciting and with loads of potential.

He must be decent if West ham have handed him a debut and played him in Europe.

If Hibs sell Josh Doig, this lad could be a direct replacement, but we could struggle to land him if Rangers and other clubs become involved and blew us out the water wage wise.
