Hibs have today been linked with a move for striker Jason Scotland.
The 34-year-old is a free agent after being released by English outfit Barnsley last week.
Scotland is said to be keen to return north of the border, as he has a Scottish wife, and he is also keen to finish his career where he made his name.
Hibs boss Terry Butcher is keen to bolster his attcking options, and see's the former Dundee Utd, Swansea, Ipswich and Wigan forward as ideal.
The Hibees tried to land Scotland before, back in 2007, when he left St Johnstone, only for the Trinadad & Tobago man turn the move down for the cash on offer in England.
Butcher is said to face competition for his signature, with Dundee Utd, Aberdeen and St Johnstone all being linked with the player.
