Hibs linked with summer move for Dons keeper Langfield

Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has today been linked with a summer move for Aberdeen keeper Jamie Langfield.

The 32-year-old is out-of-contract at Pittodrie in the summer and Fenlon is said to be monitoring the situation.

Langfield has recovered from a brain seizure suffered last summer and the surgery that followed, but has failed to win his place back in the side from Welsh keeper Jason Brown.

The Aberdeen fans have knicknamed the former Dundee man 'clangers', and it seems a strange signing to be chasing, when the Hibees already have Graham Stack and Mark Brown on the books at Easter Road.

Langfield has spent his entire career in Scotland, starting at Dundee, before moving on to Partick Thistle, Raith Rovers and Dunfermline.

He also had a short stint on loan at Forfar.

He has been capped at "B" level for Scotland and has been in a few full international squads.
